What is a Prepaid Credit Card?
Prepaid credit cards, also referred to as prepaid debit cards, reloadable Visa and reloadable MasterCard are cards where the holder has pre paid the amount of credit associated with the card. Card holders ad funds or load the card by depositing money on the card account.
Prepaid credit cards are generally for people with a bad credit or no credit. Because of this, many do not require a credit check. These credit cards are also great for students and teenagers because you can spend no more than the amount loaded on the card. Please note: some prepaid cards have a momthly fee instead of an annual fee.
