Love Loft Credit Card

Interested in the Loft credit card? The Loft credit card is now available, though with so many different store cards available is this card right for you? This review has you covered with all the information you need on this credit card, such as rewards, exclusives and other incentives, interest rates and terms and conditions and finally a guide to handling your Loft credit card online bill payment capabilities.

Loft Stores

Loft stores are owned by Ann Taylor, and just like Ann Taylor stores, Loft provides clothing, accessories, shows and similar products for women, including outsize and petite sizes and maternity ware. Loft was established in 1996, extending what was already offered by Ann Taylor with a more comfortable and relaxed clothing style for home and at work.

Loft Credit Card

The Loft Love Credit Card is a fairly standard store card in comparison to others offered by similar department stores, and is practically the same as the Ann Taylor credit card, with Loft being owned by Ann Taylor.
You get 5 rewards points for every dollar spent with this credit card. When you reach 2,000 points (equaling a spend of $400) you will be rewarded with a $20 Loft Rewards gift card to spend on almost all products. Furthermore you get a $15 reduction on any purchase you make on your birthday month. One of the better offers is the monthly 10% off program (first Tuesday of every month) for in-store and online purchases. Loft also provides a MasterCard version which offers an extra point per dollar for spends elsewhere.

Loft Credit Card Terms and Conditions

The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 24.99%, which will vary according to the Prime Rate. The MasterCard has the same rate (purchases, balance transfers and cash advances). The minimum interest charge is $1. No annual fee. Late payment and returned payment fee up to $35 and $25 respectively. The grace period for having no interest applied to your balance is 25 days after each billing statement. Full terms and conditions can be found on the credit card website.
For a person with good credit, an APR of 24.99% makes the Loft credit card comparable to other store credit cards; however, the APR is a bit high when compared to general purpose credit cards. You may want to consider your credit rating when you apply to maximize you rewards, and savings.

Loft Credit Card Online Account Management

You can pay for your Loft Love Credit Card by going to any Loft or Ann Taylor store You can also arrange for a transfer from your savings account at your bank. The best option is to set up an online account, as this only lets you pay your bills but handle practically everything else to do with your account also. With the online account you can arrange electronic transfers from a checking/savings account or arrange for a future payment.

Dispute Resolution

The Loft credit card is issued by Comenity Bank and Comenity has standard dispute resolution procedures in place if you have an issue with your card or a transaction. The procedure requires you notify them in writing to begin the resolution process. Within 30 days of receiving your notice they will contact you letting you know they have received it. If the issue has not yet been resolved when you get the first response, within 90 days of receiving your notice they will contact you again. They will either have corrected the issue, or provide an explanation why they believe the bill is correct. During this process they will not try to collect any disputed amount from you and they will not report any disputed amount to any credit reporting agencies.

In the rare event that the parties fail to resolve the dispute, the parties agree via the terms and conditions to resolve the dispute via arbitration. Should this occur, the party asserting a claim must provide the other party with written notice and an opportunity to cure of not less than 30 days.

All in all, the loft credit card is a solid choice among store credit cards; however, if you have good credit you may save more, and earn more rewards with a general purpose credit card.
